I believe a therapeutic relationship is something everyone can benefit greatly from. Participating in therapy allows time to find individual empowerment and move towards an improved life. It is my goal to provide a safe space for therapy where clients feel supported and free from judgment while navigating life’s challenges. I strive to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect, and I also believe strongly in a collaborative relationship in which clients maintain their own autonomy.
In therapy, I value a person-centered approach and work from a trauma-informed view. I recognize uniqueness and individuality and aim to empower clients as they learn and grow. I follow evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy to provide tools promoting positive change as well as individual healing. I truly enjoy witnessing my clients make positive and empowering transformations on their journey towards the life they’ve envisioned.
I have experience working in hospitals, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics, non-profits, and private practice. My professional experience allows me the ability to work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidality, self-harm, body image, women’s issues, LGBTQ+, relational issues, life transitions, and substance use disorders as well as those who have experienced traumatic events and loss.
